FriendFeed was created by a group of former Google employees ( Paul Buchheit, Jim Norris, Sanjeev Singh and Bret Taylor) and launched in February 2008. It is a social aggregator where the user can consolidate updates from many different sources and also share the feeds of information with friends. Users can post updates from their social networking websites, micro-blogging and blogging sites, photo-galleries etc, and can comment each other's posts.
