Glubble is fun site for kids and their parents, with two modes - safe mode for children, and regular for adults. Communities are based around families and are created and moderated by a parent. There are games and learning activities for children under 12, photo albums, and family network. Only parents can start the network, register, and set the site from regular mode, to safe mode (which doesn't allow surfing all over the web) Glubble creators say, that it's a safe place for kids, who can learn how to use the computer, learn and play, without having access to dangerous or inapropriate content or people. Parents can supervise their children activities in a discreete manner, because they will see the sites the child has visited, and whether he or she liked them, or not. Other members of the family can get involved as well, creating a family network for sharing pictures, chatting, or playing games. There's a family album, message board (just like the refrigerator, says the tutorial), where messages to members of the family can be posted and a family calendar to mark birthdays and other important events. There are also activities that can be taken off line, such as colouring pictures. Overall, Glubble is a user-friendly, family site, which can be both fun and educational, and introduces the internet and teaches computer skills computers in ta safe and enjoyable way, and gives the whole family a place to share.
